Pneumatic actuator is a driving device that uses gas pressure to open, close or adjust the valve. It also needs to be equipped with certain auxiliary devices. Commonly used are valve positioner and handwheel mechanism. The function of the valve positioner is to improve the performance of the actuator by using the feedback principle, so that the actuator can realize accurate positioning according to the control signal of the controller. The function of the hand wheel mechanism is to directly operate the control valve when the control system is powered off, stopped gas, the controller has no output or the actuator fails, so as to maintain the normal progress of production. Pneumatic actuators can also be divided into two types: single action and double action: the switching action of the actuator is driven by the air source, the actuator is only driven by the air source on or off, and the opposite action is reset by the spring.
