Protection of displaced children during the epidemic

Datum:2021/8/9

Every year, August 19 is World Humanitarian Day. On this day, humanitarian workers who have lost their lives or been injured at work will be commemorated all over the world. At the same time, we pay tribute to aid workers and health workers who are still providing life-saving support and protection for people in urgent need.

During the 2019 coronavirus disease (covid-19) epidemic, we all have a period of "house" At home, we try our best to shorten our activity radius and reduce the risk of virus transmission. The epidemic situation of coronavirus disease and related prevention and control measures have brought many challenges in logistics. However, UNICEF is still working closely with government departments and other partners to ensure that life-saving efforts such as immunization, malaria prevention and nutrition are resumed.

In countries with poverty, poor medical conditions and displaced people, the epidemic has had devastating consequences. This means that efforts for children's rights are more important than ever before. Last year, 40000 marks were raised from the public. The money was allocated to 13 different international projects focusing on the rights of all children.
